They say all is fair in love and war.
They lied. Sometimes love ISN’T fair. You know what? It SUCKS. Completely and totally SUCKS. Because certain people act a certain way to their friends…but then act completely differently to the person they supposedly love more than anything or anyone. The difference is the fact that they’ll be rude to them, that they’ll UNFAIRLY take things out on them…that they’ll put them down, make them cry. Well, if you say you love a person more than anything else, why would you treat them like they’re sub-par parts of your existence? Why wouldn’t you treat them highly and make them feel like they’re the best if you say that they ARE the best? You know, putting people down drives them away from you…so why would you drive away the person you want to be there most? I don’t understand how it’s okay to make a person feel awful without taking responsibility or even apologizing. I don’t understand this ESPECIALLY when it’s concerning the person you care about more than anything. If you care so much, wouldn’t you show it?
